Plymouth State College – Cogeneration Project

Project Location: Plymouth, New Hampshire

Electrical Engineer: N.K. Engineers, Inc.

Description: 1.8 Mw, 5,400 s.f. power cogeneration facility. Roof framed with structural steel beams supported on concrete masonry bearing walls. Two mezzanines framed in structural steel, one with floor grating and one with a composite floor framing system. Many equipment foundations, trenches, hangers, pedestals, sleeves and roof penetrations due to complex mechanical/electrical requirements. Designed foundation for 70 foot high exterior stack. Lateral wind and seismic loads resisted by reinforced masonry shear walls.
