University Museum - Wesleyan University
Project Location: Middletown, Connecticut

Description: Conversion of existing 1930’s squash building to new teaching museum. Extensive alterations include removal of existing two-level squash structure and replacement with new three-story museum facility while retaining historic façade on three sides. Extensive foundation underpinning required. Composite floor framing system with concentrically braced frames and moment-resisting frames used to resist earthquake loads.
Anticipated Completion: 2008
