Greenwich Academy – Patsy G. Howard Upper School
Project Location: Greenwich, Connecticut

Description: New 45,000 square foot Upper School academic building. Two-story structure on steeply sloping site. Combination of steel and glued laminated timber framing systems. Fully landscaped roof with grade level access from high side of site. Extensive use of concrete retaining walls for building walls and site walls, including walls restrained by tie-down anchors. Underpinning required at adjacent buildings. Project also included conversion of turn-of-the-century former Rockefeller estate into an interim classroom facility.
